Eniola Badmus was born in Ijebu Ode, Nigeria, where she also completed her elementary and secondary education.
She continued her education at the University of Ibadan, where she studied Theater Arts. She later advanced her education at Lagos State University, where she earned an M.Sc degree in Economics.

Eniola Badmus began her career in the Nigerian movie industry, widely known as Nollywood, shortly after finishing her education in 2000.
While acting in various films, she had her debut with “Jenifa,” a popular Yoruba film directed by Funke Akindele. She also made her debut in “Omo Ghetto,” establishing herself as a household name to be reckoned with.
Both films pushed her to the limelight and earned her “The Best Actress Award (Yoruba)” at the African Viewers Choice Awards. She has now won a number of movie awards for herself.
